Inbown AI ("Inbown", "we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our application and services.

1. Data we collect

Account data

Name, email address, and authentication information when you sign up.

Integration data

When you connect Slack, Gmail or Google Calendar, we access metadata (senders, subjects, timestamps, channel names) needed to identify priority signals. We do not store the full content of your messages or emails.

Usage data

Actions taken in the app, preferences, usage frequency, and performance metrics.

Technical data

Device type, operating system, IP address, and session identifiers to ensure security and proper functioning of the service.

2. How we use your data

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Inbown service
  • Analyze your connected sources to detect priority signals
  • Generate your daily briefings and action recommendations
  • Protect your account and prevent abuse
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Send you essential communications about the service

3. Artificial intelligence and data processing

Inbown uses AI models (OpenAI GPT-4, Claude) to analyze your data and generate insights. Your personal data is never used to train these models. We have strict zero-retention and no-training agreements with our AI infrastructure providers.

4. Data sharing

We never sell your personal data. We share your data only with:

  • Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) necessary for service operation
  • AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) for analytical processing, under zero-retention agreements
  • Competent authorities, only when required by law

5. Data security

We protect your data with:

  • AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit
  • OAuth-only authentication. We never store your third-party service passwords
  • Isolated AWS environments with SOC2-aligned practices
  • Data access restricted on a need-to-know basis

6. Data retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. Briefings are archived for the duration of your subscription. After account deletion, your data is permanently erased within 30 days.

7. Your rights

In accordance with GDPR and applicable laws, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access your personal data
  • Right to rectify inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"). Use the "Nuke" option in your dashboard
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and preferences (theme, language). We use Vercel Analytics for anonymized performance metrics. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.

9. Children's protection

Inbown is a B2B service designed for professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16 years of age.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Any significant changes will be notified to you by email or through the app. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance.
